A settlement agreement has been reached in the civil case against Todd and Julie Chrisley, the stars of the reality TV show "Chrisley Knows Best." The state of Georgia has agreed to pay the couple $1 million, marking the end of the lawsuit.

Convictions and Sentencing

The Chrisleys were convicted of federal fraud and tax evasion in 2022. Todd Chrisley was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie Chrisley was sentenced to seven years in prison. The couple reported to prison in January 2023.

Unresolved Claims

The civil case stems from claims that the Chrisleys defrauded banks out of more than $30 million. The Chrisleys maintain their innocence, but have agreed to the settlement to bring the case to a close.
